Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from employees at public, private and nonprofit organizations, in both Iowa and Minnesota. The results are based on survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.
“Bank Midwest participates in the Top Workplaces survey on a biennial basis and uses it as a tool to build a roadmap for progress during the subsequent 2 years, and also to gauge the effectiveness of our improvement efforts over the previous 2 years,” explained Mark Dykema, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We’re proud of this recognition, and we will continue to use the employee’s feedback to better the employment experience.”
“To be named a Top Workplace is something that we are so proud of,” said Mary Kay Bates, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bank Midwest. “To be awarded this designation in both Iowa and Minnesota makes it even more special. The caliber of the employee-owners here at Bank Midwest makes all the difference. Bank Midwest promotes and encourages an attitude of life-long learning. We invest in our people and believe that when an employee feels valued, they will always do more.”
